RN Requirements Active, unencumberedRN license from the state in which you plan to work Minimum 6months of RN work experience Push, pull, support, and lift aminimum of 80 pounds Physical stamina to handle long hours ofstanding and walking Current CPR certification (Basic Life Supportpreferred) Annual physical Negative TB test results COVID-19Vaccination RN Responsibilities As a ShiftMed registered nurse,you’ll be responsible for but not limited to: Ongoing patientassessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.
Administering and recording medications per facility policy andprocedures. Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, andelectronic physician orders. Delegating appropriate tasks to nurseaides and ensuring proper care delivery. Supervising clinicaloperations for nursing and clinical care activities. Performingassessment data collection in an ongoing, systemic manner.
Reviewing and evaluating data collected by other healthcareprofessionals. Developing care plans that prescribe nursing actionsto achieve patient goals. Identifying patient/family learning needsand implementing appropriate processes. Demonstrating effectivewritten and verbal communication. Collaborating as part of aninterdisciplinary team. Ongoing flexibility regarding patientassignments, floating, and related staffing issues. Promoting apositive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude.
