Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with Vital Medical Staffing, you will play an essential role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings. From med-surg and telemetry to rehab and long-term care, you’ll assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. You’ll also provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate their care experience with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
Assessment & Monitoring:
Perform ongoing assessments of patient condition, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
Medication Administration:
Safely administer medications and manage basic treatment plans as ordered by the physician.
Communication & Support:
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and fellow nurses to coordinate care.
Documentation:
Accurately document all care provided, observations, interventions, and patient outcomes.
Adaptability:
Float between units or facilities if needed, providing consistent, quality care wver assigned.
Professional Growth:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and complete continuing education as required.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active, unrestricted RN license
Current CPR/BLS certification (
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient populations
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
