• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Monitor and assess patient progress, report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Follow all phases of analytic lab testing
• Complete lab testing (RAST). Employees will be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of testing functions and perform testing to lab qualifications.
• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records and results.
• Adhering to lab QC policies, documenting QC activity, instrumental and procedural calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance, reporting or results.
• Lead team member over Allergy Department. Responsible for administrative duties required for all accreditations.
• Orders all Allergy supplies for testing and immunotherapy
• Perform allergy skin testing; phlebotomy.
• Formulate and mix allergy serums for immunotherapy
• Inservice and patient education for administration of immunotherapy “`Qualifications“`
• Valid nursing license (LPN or RN)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience in patient care and medical documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
