Clinical Operations:

Is accountable for the assigned serviceareas 24 hours/7days. Responsible for the delivery of effectivepatient care through staff Associates. Leads development andimplementation of strategies for the safety of patients. Responsiveto the outcomes of clinical care by participation in thedevelopment and implementation of improvement solutions. Responsiveto the outcomes of customer satisfaction by participation in thedevelopment and implementation of improvement solutions.

Associate Management:

Hires, coaches, develops, and evaluatesthe performance of associates. Works through Patient CareCoordinators to ensure effective deployment of the care deliverysystem. Coaches PCCs in leadership of associates. Creates positivework environments. Accountable for associate retention andengagement outcomes. Ensures effective and efficient use of humanresources. Appropriately plans staffing and scheduling.

Collaborates across appropriate system resources for education anddevelopment of Associates.

Fiscal Management:

Participates in planning activitiesregarding the services. Develops budgets for human, other operatingand capital budgets. Effectively deploys the fiscal plan for thescope of responsibility. Understands and analyzes fiscal variancesand initiates appropriate plans for management. Effectively usesdata and outcome information from various systems andsources. Business:

Ensures continued readiness regarding accreditation and regulatoryrequirements. Responsible for the general upkeep of the physicalfacilities and patient care equipment. Leads implementation oftechnology and other assigned projects.

Professional Practice Leadership:

Serves as professional rolemodel for the discipline of nursing and models high levelprofessionalism through knowledge and actions. Completes high levelprofessional designations, such as board certifications and takesan active role in professional leadership both locally andregionally.
