Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, varioussoftware packages specific to role and keyboard. Effective verbal and written communication skills and theability to present information clearly and professionally tovarying levels of individuals throughout the patient careprocess. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent time management skills.

Job Duties Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patientcare. Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategiesappropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and othergroups or disciplines. Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources(human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner onthe Interdisciplinary Team. Utilizes data, information and knowledge to evaluate andpromote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customersatisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the professionof nursing. Other related duties as required.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting,there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardousmedications or hazardous waste within the environment throughreceipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing,administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. Therisk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential jobduties of the role.
