MDS Coordinator – RN Position Available In Lee, Mississippi

Job Description The duties and responsibilities of the MDS Coordinator include the coordination of Resident Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, implementation of individual plans of care with interdisciplinarian approach in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and the established policies and procedures at Methodist Senior Services, to maximize fulfilling the care-giving needs of residents. The person(s) holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities. Must have three to five years of experience Requirements Preferred Qualifications Have some experience in quality control coordination; attended some college taking subjects related to the essential functions of this position, and be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Minimum Qualifications RN degree from an accredited nursing program, college or university. Minimum age of 21 years old; at least one year experience in working in a long-term care setting, a hospital, or other health care institution. The MDS+ Coordinator will have three to five years’ experience implementing total patient care and care planning, and in making sound nursing judgments in a nursing home or other geriatric setting.
