Care Center of Aberdeen 505 Jackson St, Aberdeen, MS 39730 RN WKND SPV- Saturday and Sunday 8hrs required on 1st shift ( between the hrs. of 6AM-6PM). Seeking an SPV with a team player attitude that possesses strong leadership skills with a successful track record in ensuring efficient clinical operations to meet the needs of staffing and resident needs. The Nursing Supervisor works with the Nursing Staff of the facility. The Nursing Supervisor plans, organizes, coordinates and directs the nursing functions for professional and non-professional nursing personnel to ensure the highest quality of care is provided in a cost effective manner with the residents in the facility. This is done in an efficient and timely manner with consideration for both health care and legal responsibilities of the residents, the facility and the employees. The Nursing Supervisor works with the Director of Nursing to exercise responsibility and accountability for nursing service objectives, implements policies and procedures, coordinates nursing function, activities, and nursing care, as well as providing oversight and supervision to the nursing staff, and their training and competency. The Nursing Supervisors’ role within the chain of command is to act as a resource person, providing the necessary information and assistance to the staff which will enable them to perform their duties and responsibilities in the best manner possible. The Supervisor serves as a primary communication link among shifts and units.
