JOB SUMMARY
Provides critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiacpatient population Provides therapies included but not limited to: Administration ofvasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management ofcardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring,parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenouspacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy,continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis,and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.

Performs assessment skills Plans nursing care Intervenes with appropriate action after needs are identified Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process Demonstrates professional and personal development Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of the patientserved including adult and geriatric patients
Qualifications:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Graduate of a Program in Discipline
- Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and theability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in astressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
- to be obtained within 30 days Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- to be obtained within6 months Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- to be obtained within 6months Required Licenses West Virginia, United States Other Current registered nurse or compact licensure.
