JOBSUMMARY
Provides critical intensive care to Medical and Surgical patientand will when needed care for Cardiac patients. Assists withtherapies including but not limited to: vasoactive drugadministration, anti-arrhythmic drug administration, thrombolytictherapy and ventilator support. Assists with monitoring ofSwan-Ganz, central venous pressure, arterial lines,electrocardiogram, and bedside glucose monitoring, parenteral andenteral nutritional support, continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by ahemodialysis nurse.

Director of CCU and
SICU ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs assessment skills. Plans nursing care. Intervenes with appropriate action after needs are identified. Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process. Demonstrates professional and personal development. Delivers direct patient care appropriate to age of patient servedincluding adult and geriatric patients.

Minimum Education Graduate of a Program in Discipline
- Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and theability to work with minimal supervision.
Must beable to work in astressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
- to be obtained within 30 days. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- to be obtained within6 months Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- to be obtained within 6months TNCC
- to be obtained within 6 months Required Licenses West Virginia, United States Other Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing.
