Job Responsibilities Clinical Department :

Assist doctors during in-office procedures. Administer shots and medications under the direction of a provider. Prepare patients for CT scans and other diagnostic procedures. Obtain prior authorizations for medications and treatments. Help complete surgery consent paperwork for patients. Coordinate and manage outgoing referrals to other specialists. Clean and sterilize instruments. Clean, prepare, stock and maintain exam rooms. Ordering tests, labs, etc. Obtain vitals and work with patients so they are ready for their provider visit. Other clinical duties as needed and assigned. Can assist conducting non-clinical duties.

Responsibilities Allergy Department:

Performs allergy prick testing and/or intradermal testing as ordered by physician. Administers allergy injections to shot patients on physician approved schedule. Monitors patients medically for possible adverse reaction following receipt of allergy injection. Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization. Performs patient education when appropriate. Completes appropriate documentation in patients medical record. Facilitates prescriptions for patients as ordered by physician or PA. Clinical support for providers as requested/required by role within practice. Follows up to obtain referrals and insurance authorization as requested and needed. Other duties as assigned or needed

Schedule:

Must be available to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm.
