Orthopedic Unit that provides care from adulthood through geriatrics to orthopedic patients, as well as medical surgical patients. Telemetry monitoring is also available. The department has a physical therapy gym on the unit that allows the patients to get adequate physical therapy without having to leave the unit. High volume patient populations include patients who have had total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasty. Moderate volume patient populations include other types of surgical procedures, inpatient and 24-hour observation patients that are medical patients. Staffing Ratio 1:5. Must have 2 years of recent Orthopedic and Trauma experience Experience in pre-op/post-op Ortho Must have experience in use of Rapid Response Teams EPIC experience required Previous travel/contract experience a plus Must reside >50 miles from facility

$1,980/weekly

Shifts Available:

Days:

7:00am-7:00pm, 3×12 hour shifts

Nights:

7:00pm-7:00am, 3×12 hour shift

Scheduling Requirements:

Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36

Floating Requirements:

float to like acuities or less if needed

Weekends:

every other weekend required

Holidays:

every other holiday required

No On Call Credential Requirements:

Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment RN licensure/compact state BLS Certification (AHA) ACLS Certifications (AHA) •preferred, not required
