This prestigious healthcare facility is in search of a Nurse Director Emergency Department to lead the emergency care team with excellence and compassion. The Nurse Director Emergency Department will work for a health system known for their academic system affiliations, state-of-the-art technology, commitment to the community, and compassionate patient care across an array of specialities. The Nurse Director Emergency will oversee Emergency Services across two acute care hospital locations that see over 50,000 annual visits with specialists available 24/7. These ED’s offer immediate care for all ages, from minor injuries to major emergencies, Stroke Certified, and can provide essential ED behavioral health evaluations and treatments. The Nurse Director Emergency Department will be supported by a team of Nurse Managers, Educators, Specialized Nurses (many holding their TNCC certification) , techs, and ancillary staff. Responsibilities of the Regional Nurse Director ED include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing department budgets, updating policy procedures, preparing for upcoming accreditation and surveys, and most importantly, being a positive leader and mentor for the dedicated Emergency Department team.
