• Supervisesnursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed PracticalNurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery ofquality guest care and performance of staff.
• Uses a systematicapproach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursingcare.
• Contributes to the guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and thedevelopment and implementation of a plan of care.
• Evaluatesguests’ responses to nursing interventions.
• Understands therational for the use of medications and treatments and correctlyadministers as needed. Qualifications
• Current state nursinglicensure required.
• Current CPR certification and additionalcertification in a nursing specialty desired.
• Management orsupervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursingpreferred.
