Shift:
12-hour Nights Shift details: 6.45 PM to 7.15 AM 36 hours/week (3
- 12) 13-week assignment Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room, prioritizing care based on severity of conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including Botulinum toxin treatment when applicable. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner. Perform medical imaging and sonography as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Provide support for patients with behavioral health issues, ensuring a safe environment for all individuals. Work with children in emergency situations, demonstrating patience and understanding while delivering care. Support patients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met during their time in the ER. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required. Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical documentation processes and electronic health record systems is essential. Experience working with pediatric patients, particularly in high-stress environments such as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), is highly desirable.
