Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking anexperienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our hospital toensure that we deliver exceptional care to our psychiatricpatients. As a member of our team, you will be accountable for essentialclinical knowledge that will positively affect patient outcomeswithin the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning,intervening and evaluating care. You will display your strong andaccurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills whilefollowing company polices including those related toconfidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital). Incollaboration with your healthcare team, you will report criticalinformation or change in condition of patients. You will providecomfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentivenessthat would include pain assessment and reassessment. As aRegistered Nurse in this unit, you will document effectively,succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy. In orderto provide a great patient experience, you will collaborate withpatients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care foran effective and current plan of care.

Requirements:

Diploma orAssociates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited schoolof Nursing (preferred) Current licensure as an RN in the state ofVirginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibilityto practice in VA is required. American Heart Association BasicLife Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required) has providedquality healthcare services since 1909.
