Job Description:

As aBehavioral Health RN, you’ll care for patients with psychiatricconditions, emotional disorders, and substance abuse challenges.

You’ll assess mental health needs, implement individualized careplans, and support patient safety in a secure, therapeuticenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and document patient mental health status andbehaviors Administer medications and monitor for side effects orreactions Implement therapeutic interventions and de-escalationtechniques Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, andmultidisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, andcoping strategies Maintain a safe environment in accordance with facilitypolicies and state regulations

Requirements:

Active RN license (Compact license preferred) BLS certification required; CPI or PMAB certification preferred Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatricnursing experience Strong communication, observation, and crisis management skills Ability to remain calm and supportive in high-stresssituationsAt ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
