We are currently recruiting Correctional Nurses to work PRN in a Juvenile Correctional Facility in Concord, NC. This is a long contract meaning we are looking for people interested in working 6+ months at this facility. The pay rate is $38 an hour for LPNs and $47 an hour for RNs. Interested nurses must have a minimum of (1) year of previous correctional experience in a juvenile or adult setting, an unexpired CPR card, and unexpired PPD or PPD chest x-ray. We are looking for nurses for a PRN pool. We will send out openings roughly on the 15th of each month for the following month (i.e. you will see September openings on August 15). We will also send out openings for last minute shifts as well. Prior to being eligible to pick up shifts, you will need to complete training for both the YDC and DC at the facility and a virtual orientation and training. The hours available for pick up are shift A (6:30a-3:00p), shift B (6:30a-7:30p), and shift C (1:30p-10:00p). Nurses do not work holidays or If a full time position comes available, we will use this PRN pool to place a full time nurse in the open position.
