This position is amember of a team that provides support, services, and treatmentsnecessary to provide integrated care to individuals with behavioralhealth diagnosis or substance use disorders. Provides oversight andgeneral nursing care and services to persons in a facility-basedcrisis/non-hospital detox setting. All patients are voluntary andperform their own ADLs. No physical or chemical restraints. Averagelength of stay of patients is 5 -7 days.
This position providesoversight and general nursing care to persons with behavioralhealth and substance use diagnoses our new Behavioral Health UrgentCare setting. Relies on education, skill, and judgment to providequality services to the people we serve with limited direction andsupervision. Ability to assess and address crisis needs effectivelyand efficiently.-No physical restraints-All patients perform theirown ADLs-Minimum paperwork and documentation

Comply withControlled Substances policy and procedures in maintaining accurateinventories and controlled logs, following appropriate guidelinesfor investigation of discrepanciesMonitor consumers and takingappropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions tomedicationsComplete QA activities as requested and participating inthe QA processCommunicate effectively with the teamOur idealRegistered Nurse has excellent listening and communication skills,can pick up on nonverbal communication and is eager to work onnonstandard nursing assignments.
Education, Licensure, andExperience required for the position include:
Must be a graduatefrom an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of anAssociates Degree in Nursing.
Must meet the education, experience,licensure/certification requirements specified by the servicedefinition of the service being providedPrefer one year of nursingexperience.
Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
Somecollege training and/or management experience helpfulValid driverslicense (this is a condition of employment) including personalvehicle insurance coverage.
Must maintain proficiency in companysponsored training and certifications and privileging ifrequired.
