- Professional development and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary Our Pediatrics Department is a 6-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse topatient ratio.
We primarily see infants admitted forhyperbilirubinemia, post-op T & A, and low acuity respiratorycases. In times of low census, Pediatric Nurses also provide carefor post-op GYN patients and mother/baby. Qualificationsand requirements Applicants should have a current VA (orMulti-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from anaccredited nursing school ( Bachelor’s degree preferred).
