Tobetter serve our communities growth SOVAH Danville EmergencyDepartment is currently under a complete renovation to better serveour patients. The new Emergency Department will be a 31-bed unitwith a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, with designated behavioralhealth safe rooms. Our Emergency Department provides care topatients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies. We are adesignated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary StrokeCenter. We are an academic teaching site for residents, medicalstudents, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physicianassistants. Qualifications:
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license andpossess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school(Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Experience in acutecare hospital, preferred
- American Heart Association ACLS within 6months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AmericanHeart Association OR Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required,or within six (6) months of hire
- Trauma Nurse CertificationCourse (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, preferred
