Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU – PRN Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing processin accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Provides postoperative nursing care. Safely and adequately provides and utilizes equipment and suppliesbased on unique patient need. Uses electronic nursing documentation for charging patient suppliesper department policy and procedure. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs. Assesses the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patientand works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-beingof the patient.
