An established acute care facility is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to lead initiatives and maintain excellence in disease-specific certifications, with a focus on Heart Failure and Stroke programs. This role is ideal for a clinically experienced RN who thrives in quality improvement, education, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all quality improvement activities related to disease-specific certifications, including compliance with national standards Collect, analyze, and present data for performance improvement in Heart Failure, Stroke, and other certified programs Support clinical teams in maintaining accreditation standards and prepare for survey activities Facilitate interdisciplinary meetings and rounds to promote quality initiatives Serve as a resource and educator on disease-specific best practices Lead outreach efforts and participate in staff orientation and training Champion initiatives that improve patient outcomes and care delivery processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Heart Failure Nursing or related specialty is desirable
