Moncure, NC Job Overview:
An established acute care hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the perioperative services team. This role involves delivering safe, compassionate care throughout the surgical experience, from preparation through recovery, and supporting optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preoperative assessments and support post-surgical care Maintain sterile environments and assist with surgical procedures Monitor patient vitals and reactions during surgery Communicate patient needs and changes to the interdisciplinary team Document care plans and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state Current BLS certification required Other department-required certifications may be needed
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in a surgical or healthcare environment preferred
