HourlyRange:
$36.73 – $60.93
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration of conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring,management of vented and critical care patients. Phase 1 anesthesiarecovery of pediatric and adult patients. Use of and accessingcentral venous devices.
Experience Requirements:
Peri-proceduralnursing care of outpatients and inpatients needing InterventionalRadiology procedures. Administration of conscious sedation,hemodynamic monitoring, management of vented and critical carepatients. Phase 1 anesthesia of pediatric and adult patients Use ofand assessing central venous devises
Desired Skills/Abilities:
Critical Care experience with ACLS and/or PALS Pediatric experiencepreferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but notlimited to: Implements physician orders, administers medications,starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, anddocument treatment as required by company policy andlocal/state/federal rules and regulations. Orders, interprets, andevaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responsesto, care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient caremanagement decisions. Provides primary and emergency care foroccupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications asordered. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan ofCare for all patients. Directs and guides ancillary personnel andmaintain standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred.
Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license Obtains andmaintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), AdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support(PALS) Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience is requiredMinimum of 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience is requiredAbility to improve job performance through continuing education.
Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, andproblem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability toapply in support of departmental and patient care qualityimprovement.
