Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. One to three years’ experience in the EP/Cath Labpreferred Other certifications may be required for this position Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills, ability to read/comprehend writteninstructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Physical Abilities:
Remain in a stationary position, moveabout, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Thefollowing is a summary of the major job duties of this job. Completes nursing assessment of patients in the EP/Cath Lab anddocuments appropriately into patient record. Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other healthteam members. Provides and coordinates patient care with other health teammembers. Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reportsoutcomes. Administers medication and assists the physician/cardiologistduring the procedure. Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and postprocedure. Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute responsetime Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock ofsupplies Transports patients as needed Performs other duties as assigned
