• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to$1,000 Duties Responsibilities The Oncology RN will care forcritically or chronically ill cancer patients. They will administerchemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment andmonitor their patients’ progress. Oncology nurses also create asupportive environment. They may opt to specialize in areas such aspediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
• Provide care forcancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, butusually focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging frompost-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatmenteffectively, and may also be responsible for administeringchemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options,procedures and particularities of the disease.
