• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgerysetting
• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursingprogram

• Provide surgical patient care byassessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patientsreceive before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as patienteducator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating ORnurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterilefield.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instrumentsand equipment within the sterile field.
