Nurse ( RN/LPN) Healthcare Services at our Life Plan Community. In this role, you will: Provide all direct resident care and adhere to the principles of the Resident’s Rights Policy. Interpret policies and procedures to nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, residents, families, and physicians. Communicate vital information to clinical team during shift changes. Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiating corrective action. Utilize and execute “The Nursing Process” which requires assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care. Perform and document comprehensive assessment of each resident. Order, administer, and document medications and treatments per the physician’s order and accurately record all care provided. Coach nursing assistants and recommend disciplinary action, when necessary, to the Director of Nursing. Successful candidates will have graduated from an approved School of Nursing and be currently licensed as a RN/LPN in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Previous experience with geriatric residents is desirable.
