Job Description:

The Registered Nurse RN Float position involves providingflexible nursing coverage across various units and departments asneeded. Operating with adaptability, this role collaborates withdifferent healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care,ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining quality standards indiverse clinical settings.

Talent Pool:

Nursing Transitions seamlessly between different nursing units anddepartments to provide comprehensive care and support in variousmedical situations. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and supportstaff to deliver patient-centered care and ensure effectivecommunication across units. Conducts thorough assessments of patients’ conditions and needs,tailoring care plans based on individual diagnoses and medicalhistories. Responds promptly to emergencies and critical situations, offeringimmediate nursing care and assistance to stabilize patients. Assists with patient placements, admissions, and transfers,utilizing knowledge of bed allocation and capacity management toensure optimal patient flow within the medical facility. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

1 year as a

Registered NursePreferred:

1 year of clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursingorganizations.

RegisteredNurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS(CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderIf working in acritical care area, ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA HealthcareProvider is required.
