Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-qualitypatient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through thecompassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge.

Working under general supervision, this role promotes professionalnursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursingprocess and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Nursing Responsibilities:

Reviews patient needs andconditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure thatevery patient receives the direct and proper care needed. Analyzespatient information, including medical history, diagnostic results,and current condition, to develop individualized nursing careplans. Prepares nursing processes, such as medicationadministration and treatments to provide comprehensive andeffective patient care. Reconciles medical records to ensureaccuracy and compliance with regulatory standards andorganizational policies. Evaluates patient response tointerventions and identifies any additional interventions needed tomeet defined goals of care. Collaborates with interdisciplinarycare team to ensure effective care planning. Performs other dutiesas assigned.

Associate’sDegree in

Nursing Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

Required:

1 year as a

Registered Nurse Preferred:

1year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursingorganizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING

Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS(CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
