TravelCCI is searching for a Travel RegisteredNurse (RN) for a Telemetry/LTACH contract assignment in Greensboro,NC. (Must have trach/vent experience, knowledge of central lines &wound care). $2025

• 2125 per week, Net take home.

Paid Weekly. First Day Health/Dental/Vision Benefits through UHC. 8-week contract Day shift (6:45a-7p)

Position Summary:

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shiftaccountability for providing care to patients by utilizing theNursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act andHospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstratescritical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in theanticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintainsclinical competencies through continuing education; delegatespatient care priorities commensurate with the education andexperience of the staff available; provides direction andsupervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

Consults and coordinates with health care team members toassess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments inaccordance with the policy regarding the administration ofmedications by a licensed registered nurse Educates patients on surgical procedures Records patients’ medical information and vital signs Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients,and interprets and record electronic displays Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displaysadverse symptomatology Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients,including pre

• and post-surgery patients Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by physician.

Teaches patients and significant others how to manage theirillness/injury, by explaining: post-treatment home careneeds Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination andtreatment of patient Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standardsand protocol Participates in discharge planning Because patients needround-the-clock care, working hours include days, nights, weekendsand holidays.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting ortransferring of patients may involve lifting of up to fifty (50)pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than (100)pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods Fine motor skills/visual acuity

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current nursing license, in good standing with the Statelicensing board Minimum of two (2) years experience
