Qualifications:
Position Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursingprocess of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs ofthe patient and family. Communicates effectively with all membersof the health care team as appropriate about changes in thepatient’s condition or response to treatment. Basic PC skills. Ableto work on smoke-free campus. Able to be flexible, organized andfunction under stressful situations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:

Associate’s degree in Nursing is required Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred

Required License:

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)

Required Certification:

BLS is required within 30 days of hire ACLS is preferred Cardiovascular Certification is preferred

Other:

3 years ofexperience in a Cath lab setting is preferred.
