Position Summary:
The RN Recovery/PACU nurse provides direct andindirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment,planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will meetthe physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of thepatient and family and will communicate effectively with allmembers of the health care team as appropriate about changes in thepatient’s condition or response to treatment.

Required Education:
Associate degree isrequired Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
Required Certification:
BLS certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
