Week Contract Job Details:
Contract Length:
13 weeks.
Shift Schedule:
12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays (every other).
Float Requirements:
Float to similar units based on census, including Med Surg, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, and PCU.
Possibility of floating to Respiratory Care for COVID patients.
On-Call:
None.
Facility Policy:
Facility may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty.
Licenses and Certifications:
Active NC or Compact State RN License.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
ACLS preferred.
Travel Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience and one successful travel assignment required (no new travelers).
Epic proficiency required.

Specialty Unit:
Med/Surg-Oncology – 37 beds.
Patient Case Types:
Medical Admissions:
Cancer, pneumonia, hypoxia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dehydration, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), infections, gastrointestinal disorders, pancreatitis, substance abuse, mental status changes.
Surgical Admissions:
General, bariatric, vascular, urological, gynecological, endoscopic, plastic, podiatric, ENT surgical procedures.
Patient Ratios:
Days:
1:5-6.
Nights:
