Nursing Full Job Description Public Health Nurse Supervisor I Duties:
The position serves as the Clinical Manager with supervisory responsibilities for the following programs: Immunization, Child Health, Maternity, Family Planning, Primary Care, and Communicable Disease. The person must have strong management skills, ability to coordinate clinical operations, strong fiscal management of programmatic budgets, coordinate quality improvement activities for the clinical services, coordinate clinical activities for Accreditation, and actively participates in Preparedness Activities.
Minimum Education:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a BS degree in nursing which includes a public health nursing rotation and three years of public health experience, or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and four years of professional experience, three of which must have been in public health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Nurse supervision experience preferred. Must have a current license to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Salary Range:
Grade 77 $73,904 – $81,576 Commensurate with experience.
