Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Nitelite Pediatric Urgent Care, P.A. Smithfield, NC 27577 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. You will work collaboratively with nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to evaluate health status. Ability to perform minor procedures such as ear irrigations; removal of foreign bodies; sutures etc. Utilize TriMed system for efficient patient documentation and management. Provide acute care for pediatric patients. Implement sterile processing protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Experience Proven experience in pediatric nursing or as a Nurse Practitioner is essential. Familiarity with acute care settings and the ability to handle emergencies effectively. Experience with physical examinations and patient assessment techniques. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Tri-Med, is advantageous.
