Position Summary:
The Med/Surg RN will provide directand indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process ofassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This positionwill meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needsof the patient and family and will communicate effectively with allmembers of the health care team as appropriate about changes in thepatient’s condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Required Education:
 Associate degree is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required(or compact state)
Required Certification:
American HeartAssociation BLS required  
Other:
1 year of experience in ahealth care setting is preferred
