JobDescription:

The Registered Nurse Home Health, under the directionof the Home Health Clinical Supervision and on order of thephysician, is accountable for direct and indirect quality care forpatients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of thepatient, following the nursing process and in accordance with theNurse Practice Act. Professional development is an integral part ofthis nursing practice. Position coordinates patient care activitieswith other members of the health care team in a collegialrelationship. Required Qualification:

Education to meet certification, license or registrationrequirement. 1 year medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting orif hired for Mental Health RN work assignment 1 year experience ineither an acute care setting or community mental healthsetting. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30days of hire. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire – if practicingwithin this state.

Preferred Qualification:

Recent Home Health experience. Community mental health experience, geriatric experience, andANCC Psychiatric for Mental Health RN work assignment. Hospice or Palliative Care experience for Palliative Care RNwork assignment. Point of Care experience. Why Join Providence?
