Duties:
  • Collects and analyzes data pertinent to thehealthcare consumer’s health or situation.
  • Identifies expectedoutcomes and develops individualized plans to attain measurableoutcomes.
  • Implements the identified plan, coordinates caredelivery, and promotes health and a safe environment.
  • Delegateselements of care appropriately and evaluates progress toward goalsand outcomes.
  • Practices in a culturally diverse and inclusivemanner, effectively communicating in all areas of practice.
  • Collaborates with healthcare consumers and stakeholders,demonstrating leadership in the profession.
  • Seeks knowledgereflecting current nursing practice, integrating evidence andresearch findings into practice.
  • Contributes to quality nursingpractice, evaluating one’s own and others’ nursing practice againstprofessional standards.
  • Utilizes appropriate resources to provideevidence-based nursing services safely, effectively, andresponsibly.

Skills:
  • Current Basic Life Support for HealthcareProvider certification according to the American Heart Association
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered NursePetitioner required.
  • BSN preferred.
Education:
  • Graduate from anaccredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
