Position Summary:
The ICU RN provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing thenursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, andevaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/culturaland needs of the patient and family. Communicates effectively withall members of the health care team as appropriate about changes inthe patient’s condition or response to treatment. Basic PCskills.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education Associate degree is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compactstate)
Required Certification:
BLS required ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
