Position Summary:
Provides direct and indirect patient care to the OB patientutilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning,implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial,religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family.
Communicates effectively with all members of the health care teamas appropriate about changes in the patient’s condition or responseto treatment. Able to be flexible, organized and function instressful situations.

Required Education:
Associate degree is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compactstate)
Required Certification:
BLS certification required Additional certifications as required by department
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care OB/L&D/PP/Nursery settingis preferred
