Position Summary:

The RN Recovery/PACU nurse providesdirect and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process ofassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This positionwill meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needsof the patient and family and will communicate effectively with allmembers of the health care team as appropriate about changes in thepatient’s condition or response to treatment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:

Associate degree is required Bachelor’s degreeis preferred

Required License:

Registered Nurse in North Carolinais required (or compact state)

Required Certification:

BLS certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire

Other:

1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
