RN-Surgery/OR-PRN Embedit Lakeview, NC Job Overview:

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and delivering top-quality care through every phase of the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to maintain a sterile and safe environment Perform thorough patient assessments and documentation Implement physician orders accurately and efficiently Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures Educate patients and their families on post-operative care

Requirements:

Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Active and unencumbered RN license in North Carolina or compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Additional certifications may be required depending on departmental needs

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of experience in a healthcare or perioperative setting
