Brief Summary of Work for this
Position:
The Registered Nurse (PRN) functions as a member of a clinical team in the provision of health care in a fast-paced college health center. Responsibilities include obtaining pertinent medical information during check-in; educating patients; providing care and treatment to patients consistent with nursing practice and theory; and administering vaccinations and performing basic laboratory tests. must demonstrate the ability to accurately assess a patient’s medical problem. May assume lead role in the clinic whenever necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of a state accredited school of professional nursing
Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina, by the N.C. Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Required Certifications or Licensure:
