Job Summary:

- Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis;identification of outcomes; planning; implementation andevaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence basepractice, uses analytical/critical thinking and insuring that careis individualized; coordinating care through effective partnershipsrecognizing that caring is central to achieve optimal patient careoutcomes
- Provides relationship-based patient centered care that isconsistent with population specific characteristics (e.g. age,gender, disease, etc.) in a manner that adapts service delivery toreflect an understanding of cultural diversity
- Always partnerswith the patient and significant others (as appropriate) using suchappropriate method for setting and purpose (e.g., bedside shiftreport; interdisciplinary rounds; just in time and planned patientteaching; keeping the patient and significant others updated andmaking the patients goals the focus of the plan of care.

- Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safequality patient care that promotes the professional care deliverymodel. - Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a mannerthat is fiscally responsible and promotes the recruitment andretention of all healthcare team members.

Required Minimum Education:
Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-PreferredRequiredMinimum License(s) and Certification(s):

- Instructor Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS
