Position Summary:

Asa nurse, you will provide patient care using the nursing process ofassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Addressingthe physical, psychosocial, and religious/cultural needs of thepatient and family is crucial. Effective communication with thehealthcare team about changes in the patient’s condition isessential.

Minimum Requirements:

• Successful completion of theNursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in nursing isrequired from an accredited school is required.
• You must havecritical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability towork with minimal supervision.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) isrequired within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular LifeSupport (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) arerequired within 6 months of employment
• A current North Carolinaor compact state Registered Nurse license is also required. Handlewith care is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcaresetting is preferred.
