Position Summary•Upto 30K commitment incentive eligibleResponsible to provide care inaccordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse PracticeAct, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and otherstandards established by profession/professional groups, regulatingbodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance withECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures andprofessional standards of care/practice.

Responsible for theprovision and coordination of nursing care to include thecollection and analysis of assessment data, identification ofexpected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaborationwith the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members.

Identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implementsthe interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates theprogress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, anddocuments the process. This care includes sensitivity to agespecific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Promotes andevaluates the effective functioning of the health care team.

Collaborates with health care team members to meet the identifiedneeds of the patient/family throughout the episode of care.

Delegates tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by NCNurse Practice Act.

Minimum RequirementsDiploma in Nursing,Associates in Nursing or higherBachelors Degree is preferred.0 – 2years experience is required.

Current NC RN license or licensure topractice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state HealthCare Provider is required.

Basic Life Support is required.

Knowledge,Skills & Abilities required: (i.e. supervision, computers,etc.)Flexibility in scheduling to meet the twenty four (24) hourneeds of the patients.

Possess organizational, problem-solving, andcritical thinking skills.

Ability to utilize effective andconfidential communication in patient, interdisciplinary, andstaffrelationships.

Maintains stable performance levels under conditionsof pressure and multipledemands.

Working knowledge and experiencewith PC-based applications.
