Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies andguides. Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillarypersonnel.

Essential Functions:

Performs plan of care intervention, including medicationadministration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as wellas other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, andambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and providespatient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition,and circumstances.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Associate’s Degree in Nursingrequired Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisivejudgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriateaction.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) required ACLS within 3months of hire PALS within 3 months of hire

Licenses:

Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure ormulti-state (compact) license). Minimum Work Experience 1-3 years preferred and recent acute careexperience or OR experience within past 3 years preferred Benefits – Wide range of benefits options!
