Elementary Setting Location:
Asheboro, North Carolina area
Schedule:
30 hours per week (during school hours) We are seeking a caring and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to work 1:1 with an elementary-aged student managing Type 1 diabetes. The nurse will provide direct care during the school day to ensure the student remains safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer insulin multiple times per day as needed Monitor and respond to blood sugar fluctuations Maintain open communication with school staff, family, and healthcare providers Document health-related activities accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of North Carolina Experience in diabetes care (insulin administration and glucose monitoring) Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Reliable, observant, and able to work independently This is a fulfilling opportunity to positively impact a student’s daily school experience while working in a supportive educational environment.
