• Professional development and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary Sovah Surgery consists of 3 Full Time Surgeons and 1 Part TimeSurgeon.

We provide pre and post care after surgery. Our Surgeonssee patients for various reasons such as hernias, gallbladders,cancers, skin cysts, debridement, etc. We do some in-officeprocedures. Hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursdayand 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday About our Health System SOVAH Danville is a 250 bed hospital located in Danville, VA, andis part of , a diversified healthcare delivery network committed tomaking communities healthier

• External Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license andpossess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school(Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Additional requirements include:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support
• Experience in Utilization Review preferred
• Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shiftpatterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity ofcare and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients ofSovah Health Danville on all units.
